Bio

Felicity is a London born and based artist, illustrator, printmaker and designer who works across a wide range of media.

Having started down a somewhat different path by getting a BA in French and Latin from New College, Oxford she spent time working as a diversity Consultant in London.

Deciding that more creative pursuits were where her heart and future lay she studied Surface Design at LCC and obtained her FdA with a speciality in screen printing where she remained to work for a period as a screenprint technician.

She has subsequently earned an MA in Material Futures from Central Saint Martin’s. She worked in fashion, and her pattern designs have featured in graduation collections for CSM Womenswear students. She has also illustrated for Sharon Wauchob, whose work has shown on the catwalk at both Paris and London Fashion Weeks.

The combination of imagery and graphics in her pieces is often confrontational and challenging. This is how she responds to issues that affect her in contemporary culture or society. She is part of the feminist printmaking collective ‘Sisters In Print’ who showed at The Other Art Fair 2018 and her work was at the Woolwich Contemporary Print Fair in 2019.  She was selected as one of the Artists of the Month by Dark Yellow Dot also in 2019, and has been twice longlisted for the Secret Art Prize.

Felicity has exhibited in two “Sheroes : Revoluciones” exhibitions (2019 & 2020) at the Ugly Duck Gallery and her drawings and prints were selected as part of the “Works On Paper” show (2020) at Candid Arts, London.

She will again show at The Other Art Fair in London in 2020.
